About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our high-performing front-office development team. This role focuses on delivering innovative, low-latency FX pricing and auto-hedging solutions for FICC E-Trading, supporting strategic initiatives targeted for 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing real-time pricing services for FX Spot, Swaps, and NDF auto-hedging, as well as enhancing existing functionalities to meet evolving regulatory and market requirements. You will collaborate closely with Quantitative Strategies Group, Traders, and other technology teams, participating in Agile ceremonies, refining requirements, and ensuring the seamless integration of cutting-edge ultra-low-latency technologies. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced market data technologies, kernel bypass networking, and zero-GC JVMs, contributing to the bank’s innovative trading infrastructure.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in Java server-side development with a strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
- Full technology stack knowledge of Java, Linux, and networking fundamentals
- Experience with KDB/Q and high-frequency trading or pricing systems
- Prior experience in pricing or algo-trading across any asset class
- Solid understanding of multi-threading and low-latency system design
- Experience with 3rd line production support and incident management
- Familiarity with SDLC tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Ansible
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with technical management, quantitative analysts, and trading teams
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience working with ultra-low-latency technologies such as kernel bypass networking and core pinning is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain low-latency, real-time FX pricing services for Spot, Swaps, and NDF auto-hedging
- Implement new features and enhancements to existing pricing and auto-hedging systems based on business needs
- Update and refactor codebases to accommodate external venue upgrades and regulatory changes
- Participate actively in the Agile SDLC, including planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and refinement sessions
- Collaborate with Quantitative Strategies Group to review code quality and improve backtesting capabilities
- Provide L3 support for production systems, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
- Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of market data and trading infrastructure
- Proactively identify opportunities for system optimization and performance improvements
- Document technical specifications and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
