Looking for a role where you'll build modern software, work with the latest engineering practices and continue to grow your career?
I'm working with a leading FinTech that's investing heavily in technology and modernising its platform. As they continue to scale, they're looking for a Java Engineer to join a growing engineering team working on business-critical products and large-scale platform transformation.
This is an opportunity to work on modern, cloud-native applications, collaborate with experienced engineers and gain exposure to AI-assisted development tools, helping shape the way software is built across the business.

What you'll be doing
- Designing, building and maintaining scalable applications using Java and modern engineering practices
- Contributing across the full software development lifecycle, from design through to deployment and support
- Collaborating with Product, Engineering and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions
- Using AI-assisted development and automation tools to improve testing, documentation and delivery
- Championing clean code, automated testing, security and continuous improvement
- Supporting production systems while helping drive platform reliability and performance

What they're looking for
You'll ideally have experience with:
- Java and Spring Boot
- Modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD and automated testing
- Frontend technologies such as JavaScript or TypeScript (or an interest in working across the stack)
- Agile ways of working and collaborative product teams
Most importantly, they're looking for engineers who are curious, enjoy learning new technologies and want to help build high-quality software in a modern engineering environment.
