A leading financial markets technology company with offices in London, Singapore, and New York is looking to hire Java Engineers to join its growing engineering team in London.
The company specialises in building institutional-grade blockchain infrastructure and high-performance trading systems, enabling the next generation of digital asset markets. The Role
You will be responsible for designing and building high-performance, scalable infrastructure that supports digital asset trading platforms. Working alongside a highly skilled engineering team, you will contribute to the development of low-latency systems, blockchain integrations, and mission-critical trading technology used by institutional clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges and want to work on products that combine financial markets technology, blockchain infrastructure, and high-performance software engineering.

Responsibilities
- Write high-quality, performant, and maintainable code
- Develop and support software applications, APIs, and core platform infrastructure
- Design and build low-latency, high-throughput systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical projects
- Support testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of products and services
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline (2:1 or above)
- 1+ years of commercial software engineering experience
- Strong programming skills in Java (experience with C++, Rust, or Go would also be beneficial)
- Experience or exposure to one or more of the following:
- Blockchain technology and distributed systems
- Low-latency or high-performance applications
- Electronic trading systems
- Financial markets technology
- Investment banking, derivatives, or quantitative systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
