About this role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to join our Global Payments and Liquidity Technology team within Commercial Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking. You will leverage your hands-on engineering experience, architecture knowledge, CI/CD experience to lead complex technology solutions as part of Payment Transformation initiative. In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Financial Industry experience: Deep knowledge of Urgent/Wire payment processing
- Experience integrating or supporting Oracle Banking Payments Module (OBPM) and Oracle Flex cube banking application
- Experience coordinating platform (hardware, App Server) and Application (versions) upgrades
- Full Stack JAVA Development experience
- Oracle/PL Sql experience
- JIRA and DevOps experience
- Proficient using AI tools to boost productivity

Desired Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or higher
- Good communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
- Strong analytical skills
- Working Experience in an Agile development team
- Experience with Jenkins
- Micro services, WebLogic, Automation tools, Cloud
Job Expectations
- Ability to work onsite at one of the posted locations
