Java Full Stack Technical Lead (5 roles available within global Banking)

As Java Full Stack Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade web applications using Java-based backend technologies and modern frontend frameworks.

This is a broad role which combines hands-on technical expertise, solution architecture, team leadership, external client stakeholder management, and delivery ownership.

You will be an integral client facing Technical Lead, owning technical client stakeholders throughout the end-to-end delivery process.

You will have strong technical knowledge gained over your career, with experience of successfully delivering at least 2 major Java full stack external client deliveries.

Your end client will be within the global banking sector, so any banking knowledge is highly advantageous.

This role is based on client site, with the client based in Belfast so you need to be based in NI.

  • Backend: Java 11+/17, Spring Boot Spring MVC
  • Frontend: Angular / TypeScript / JavaScript

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
