Contract Java Developer

Telford – 2 days onsite p/w
6 month contract
Inside IR35 up to £600 p/d

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong PL/SQL skills to join an expanding team due to uplift in demand within the business. You'll work across both Java and PL/SQL, so the ability and willingness to flex between technologies will be important.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications using Java and PL/SQL.
  • Contribute to the delivery of new functionality and enhancements.
  • Work collaboratively within an established Agile development team.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues and defects.
  • Work flexibly across Java and PL/SQL development activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across development processes and practices.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience developing in Java.
  • Strong experience with PL/SQL.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and complex existing systems quickly.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary delivery team.
