We are currently hiring a Java Developer (DevOps) for an exciting client engagement.

Role: Java Developer with DevOps
Location: Belfast, UK (Hybrid)
Positions: 6 Months Contract Inside IR35

Please Note: Must work 3 days from the end customer's office in Belfast

Role Overview

Required Experience

  • Principal-level hands-on engineer delivering distributed, cloud-native systems
  • Solid background in Java services and service modernization
  • Strong understanding of failure modes, scaling, and data durability
  • Experience with Kafka or similar distributed/streaming platforms
  • Solid background with Helm, Operators, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
  • Deep expertise in Kubernetes, especially stateful applications
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, EBS, IAM, VPC)
