THE JAVA DEVELOPER ROLE:
As a Java Developer, you will work across a range of client projects, contributing to both greenfield development and the improvement of existing applications. You will collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to design, build and deliver high-quality software solutions.
You will be trusted to add value throughout the development lifecycle, working with agility across varied assignments while maintaining strong technical standards and a clear focus on client outcomes.
JAVA DEVELOPER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Strong commercial experience with Java 8 or later
- Experience with Spring and Spring Boot
- Good working knowledge of SQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, DB2 or SQL Server
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Organised and comfortable working across client-facing projects
- Analytical approach to solving technical problems
- NoSQL database experience would be beneficial
- Experience/Interest in AI technologies
