We're working with a growing consultancy delivering enterprise-scale solutions for one of the UK's largest retailers.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced backend engineer who enjoys building scalable applications, working with modern cloud technologies and playing a key role in complex enterprise programmes.
Responsibilities
- Developing and enhancing Java applications using Spring Boot
- Designing and building scalable microservices
- Working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and enterprise communication platforms
- Contributing to cloud infrastructure and CI/CD delivery pipelines
- Driving performance, reliability and engineering best practice across the platform

Qualifications
- Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience designing and building microservices
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience
- Cloud experience, ideally Azure
- Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams
