Java Engineer
Contract
London/Hybrid
We're looking for an experienced Java Engineer to design and develop high-performance, low-latency Java applications for performance-critical environments. You'll optimise JVM performance, build event-driven systems, and work on highly concurrent, Real Time applications.

- Strong Java development experience with JVM tuning and performance optimisation
- Expertise in low-latency, high-throughput and concurrent systems
- Experience with event-driven/reactive architectures
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, CPU architecture, and memory management
- Linux internals and networking (TCP/UDP)
- Experience in financial trading or high-frequency trading environments is highly desirable
- Exposure to Aeron or similar messaging frameworks is a plus
