Mid-Level Full Stack Developer
Location: Bath (Hybrid – Typically 4 days office / 1 day home)
Salary: Up to £50,000
Type: Permanent
The Opportunity
We're working exclusively with a well-established organisation that has spent the last 12 months investing heavily in its internal technology function. Following the successful growth of the engineering team, they're now looking to appoint another Full Stack Developer who can help build, improve and maintain a suite of modern business-critical applications.
You'll join a close-knit development team consisting of a Senior Developer and Junior Developer, giving you genuine influence over technical decisions while continuing to develop your own skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across the full software development lifecycle within a collaborative environment where your ideas genuinely matter.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building modern full-stack web applications
- Developing frontend functionality using React/Next.js
- Building backend services using Node.js & TypeScript
- Creating and consuming REST APIs
- Working with PostgreSQL databases
- Deploying and maintaining applications within AWS
- Collaborating within an Agile development team
- Participating in code reviews and technical discussions
- Working closely with senior engineers on new functionality
- Contributing towards future AI-powered product features

What We're Looking For
Ideally you'll have:
- 2-5 years commercial Full Stack experience
- Strong React or Next.js
- Node.js experience
- TypeScript
- SQL / PostgreSQL
- REST API development
- Git
- AWS exposure
- Commercial Agile experience
- Most importantly... Someone who enjoys ownership.
