Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled JavaScript Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. This role involves working directly with customers to transform their needs into effective technical solutions. The successful candidate will possess both technical expertise and strong customer engagement skills, allowing them to design and maintain high-quality software solutions with minimal supervision. GDS experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Previous Government Experience
  • Independently deliver high-quality solutions while collaborating as part of an Agile team.
  • Confidently engage with customers and internal delivery teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Efficiently elicit, clarify, and document customer requirements.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain robust software solutions.
  • Enhance AI prompting skills and utilise tools such as GitHub Copilot.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and addressing issues.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' commercial JavaScript development experience.
  • Strong communication and customer engagement skills.
  • Experience in Agile delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace is desirable, though not essential.
