About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Javascript Engineer to join our team as the first full-time engineer at Seen. In this pivotal role, you will have a significant influence on our product development and strategic direction. You will work closely with our small, dedicated team to integrate review APIs, develop our long-term product roadmap, and oversee the core platform's development. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to take ownership of projects from conception to deployment, shaping the future of our technology stack. Since our platform is built on full-stack JavaScript technologies, familiarity with modern frameworks such as React Native and Angular 4 is essential. As a key contributor, you will face diverse challenges that require innovative problem-solving and a proactive approach to development.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in full-stack JavaScript development, particularly with Angular 2/4 and the MEAN stack.
- Strong understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
- Experience in building and deploying scalable web and mobile applications.
- Demonstrated ability to translate concepts into functional features and products.
- Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
- Experience with API integrations, especially with Google APIs, is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Preferably based in Southampton or willing to work remotely from this location.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new features for our platform, ensuring high-quality code and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the team to define product specifications and contribute to product roadmaps.
- Integrate third-party review APIs and other external services seamlessly into the platform.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning through deployment and maintenance.
- Take ownership of projects, managing tasks independently and delivering results on time.
- Stay updated on the latest JavaScript technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve our platform.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation to support long-term product sustainability.
