Role Overview
As a JD Edwards (JDE) Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality functional solutions within the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environment. The role requires deep expertise in Finance modules and a good understanding of Sales and distribution modules, strong analytical capabilities, and extensive hands-on-implementation experience. The consultant will collaborate with various cross-functional teams to deliver defined requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the functional liaison for JD Edwards (JDE) initiatives, directly interacting with business users, customer stakeholders, and cross-functional leadership to understand requirements, clarify design needs, and drive solution alignment.
- Lead end-to-end functional analysis and solution design for complex, cross-functional JDE projects in an integrated, multi-application environment, ensuring real-time collaboration with customer teams.
- Conduct workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and design walkthroughs with customer process owners to validate and refine business processes.
- Prepare and present functional design specifications and solutions proposals in design forums, obtain sign-offs, and ensure solutions meet business, compliance, and operational needs.
- Provide hands-on consultancy and advisory support to customers on best practices, process optimisation, and solution alternatives within the JDE Finance domain.
- Coordinate with offshore teams, ensuring accurate knowledge transfer, governance, and seamless execution across the global delivery model.
- Support UAT cycles directly with customer business teams, validating solutions, resolving defects, and ensuring readiness for go-live.

Technical Skills Required
- 8+ years of proven experience of JD Edwards implementation and support experience with at least 5 years leading customer-facing implementation cycles.
- Strong knowledge of Intune, MDM, Windows 10/11, macOS, and mobile OS platforms.
- Hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.0, 9.1, and 9.2.
- Expertise in Finance modules with proven experience as a subject matter expert (SME) in multi-site global implementations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead on-site requirement workshops, document AS-IS/To-BE processes, and map business requirements to JDE applications.
- Skilled in writing detailed functional specifications, including customisations, integrations with third-party systems, and report developments.
- Experience utilising designing tools such as MIRO, project management tool JIRA, banking automation software FIS, and Microsoft SQL skills.
- Experience in design and delivery of solutions pertaining to regulatory requirements for E-invoicing as localised globally.
- Excellent customer engagement, communication, and negotiating skills to manage complex functional and business discussions.

- Must be educated to at least degree level or equivalent
