About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Jersey & Woven Designer to join a growing fashion supplier based near Old Street. This is a key role within a small, fast-paced team, working closely with high street customers to develop commercially successful womenswear ranges across jersey and woven product.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and develop trend-led, commercial womenswear ranges across jersey and woven product
- Work across key high street customer accounts while supporting the development of new business
- Attend customer meetings and confidently present ranges, product ideas and trend direction directly to buyers
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers, understanding their requirements and identifying opportunities to grow accounts
- Work closely with the Account Manager to interpret briefs, respond to customer feedback and amend ranges accordingly
- Liaise daily with design and production teams across China, India and Bangladesh to develop product from initial concept through to production
- Create CADs, range presentations, trend research and product development packs to support customer meetings
- Play an active role in the continued growth of the business, contributing new ideas and helping to strengthen existing and new customer relationships

- Strong previous experience as a Womenswear Designer within a fashion supplier environment, working with major UK high street accounts
- Proven experience designing across jersey and woven product, with a strong commercial and trend-led handwriting
- Confident presenting ranges directly to buyers and experienced in building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Excellent Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills with strong CAD and presentation ability
- Commercial, proactive and highly organised, with the confidence to work independently within a small, fast-paced team
