We are currently recruiting for Jet Vac Driver / Operators to join a well-established and growing drainage and industrial services business operating across the Greater Belfast area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV Drivers, Jet Vac Operators, Drainage Operatives, or candidates from industrial services backgrounds looking to build a long-term career within a specialist and essential industry. No two days are the same, with work carried out across a variety of commercial, industrial and public sector sites.
The Role
As a Jet Vac Driver / Operator, you will operate specialist Jet Vacuum Tankers and high-pressure water jetting equipment to deliver drainage, cleaning and industrial maintenance services safely and efficiently. Working as part of an experienced operational team, you will undertake both planned maintenance and emergency response work while ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate Jet Vac and Vacuum Tankers safely and efficiently.
- Carry out drain and sewer clearance using high-pressure water jetting equipment.
- Complete gully emptying, tank cleaning, wet well and pump station cleaning.
- Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections.
- Complete job sheets, service reports and digital paperwork accurately.
- Set up work areas safely in line with Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Transport and dispose of waste materials at licensed disposal facilities.
- Support reactive and emergency call-out work when required.
- Work alongside drainage CCTV survey teams and other operational crews.
- Maintain excellent health & safety standards and deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience operating Jet Vac equipment, vacuum tankers, drainage equipment or similar heavy plant.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Flexible approach to overtime and occasional emergency call-outs.

Desirable
- Previous drainage or industrial services experience.
- High-pressure water jetting certification.
- Confined Space Entry certification.
- CSCS or CSR Card.
- ADR Licence (advantageous but not essential).
