Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking to appoint a JetVac Assistant to join our Stockton-on-Tees Depot. Working as part of a two-person team, you will be responsible for attending drainage-related issues such as blockages, pipe clearing, cleansing, and reactive call-outs.

Stockton-on-Tees
Hours:
Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
Salary:
£13 - £14 per hour dependant on experience

Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery
- Ensure all H&S requirements are followed
- Communicate with customers about scheduled works and address any concerns.
- Assist in identifying drainage issues, including blockages, structural defects, infiltration, and root ingress.
- Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear drains, sewers, and pipework.
- Remove waste materials and prevent build-up in wastewater systems.
- Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance to ensure readiness.
- Support CCTV inspections to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.
- Assist in emergency response situations, including flooding and urgent drainage issues.
- Learn to complete job sheets, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS) under supervision.
