Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Jeweler role based in London. The Jeweler will perform day-to-day hands-on work, including jewellery polishing, cleaning, repairs, soldering, resizing, and ring setting adjustments, while ensuring all pieces meet Gardner’s Gold workmanship standards. The role involves assessing and diagnosing damage or wear, recommending appropriate repair solutions, and executing tasks on metals such as gold, silver, platinum, and stainless steel. The Jeweler will also carry out watch sizing and polishing services, maintain a clean and safe workshop environment, and care for tools and equipment. Regular interaction with customers to discuss service options, provide time and cost estimates, and uphold a professional, welcoming in-store experience is a key part of the position.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong hands-on Jewellery Design and craftsmanship skills with experience in repairs, resizing, and working with common precious metals.
  • Possess excellent Customer Service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and the ability to build trust with a diverse clientele.
  • Possess advanced Polishing skills for jewellery and watches, with attention to finish quality and surface preservation.
  • Possess familiarity with Fashion Jewelry trends and styles to advise customers and handle contemporary pieces appropriately.
  • Possess Training and mentoring abilities to support junior team members and share best practices in safe, precise workmanship.
