The Company
The Neve Jewels Group comprises three leading diamond jewellery brands with a strong presence both internationally and in the UK. With exceptional growth over the last few years, we are on a mission to reshape and disrupt the diamond jewellery industry by being Europe’s only digital-first jewellery group. We are one of the very few jewellers in the country that has its own handmade workshop based in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. This allows us to provide our clients with an unrivalled range of unique jewellery, bespoke designs by choosing from our wide range of loose diamonds, selection of rings, styles and jewellery to provide perfect gifts, wedding bands, earrings, bracelets and pendants. All our diamonds are certified and conflict-free.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Jewellery Assessment Co-ordinator to join our busy Birmingham Operations office, with a yearly salary of up to £27,000 depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in jewellery assessment or workshop-related experience, all completed to an exceptional standard. You will work on a varied mix of collection pieces and bespoke one-off designs that require assessment or alterations. This is a full-time, employed position with a competitive salary.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing product issues with jewellery designs, both commercial and bespoke
- Working with workshop teams to resolve product issues
- Tracking and issuing repairs requiring alterations
- Coordinating stock transfers with regional offices
- Sourcing stones and findings for urgent orders and repairs
- Overseeing workshop repair costs
- General customer service
- Booking returns and repairs accurately in the system
- Sending products for hallmarking
- Staying updated on industry trends and product design improvements
- Maintaining strict quality control standards for returned jewellery
- Documenting and reporting issues during assessment processes
- Working closely with workshop teams to ensure smooth repair processes
- Communicating requirements clearly for each jewellery piece
- Maintaining strong attention to detail and precision
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Managing workload to meet deadlines
- Maintaining equipment and assessment tools
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative office environment

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in jewellery assessment or workshop-related experience
- Strong knowledge of jewellery including metals, settings and tolerances
- Experience in product and design assessment
- Customer service experience (phone and email)
- Knowledge of quality control in fine jewellery
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work within a team
- Passion for jewellery and craftsmanship
