Role Description
The Jewellery B2C Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham, supporting direct-to-consumer sales and customer service. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Welcoming customers
- Presenting jewellery collections
- Answering product and pricing inquiries
- Guiding clients through purchase decisions

The role involves:

- Maintaining displays
- Handling basic administrative tasks such as invoicing and order processing
- Updating customer records
- Supporting online and phone inquiries
- Coordinating with the wider sales team
- Helping ensure a smooth in-store experience aligned with brand standards
Qualifications
- Strong customer service, client communication, and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
- Sales and retail skills, including experience in B2C environments, upselling, and managing point-of-sale transactions.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing stock, maintaining displays, and handling documentation accurately.
- Ability to learn and convey product knowledge, including materials, designs, and basic diamond and gemstone characteristics.
- Comfort with using computers, POS systems, and basic digital tools for order entry and customer records.
- Previous experience in jewellery, luxury retail, or related sectors is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and peak retail seasons.
- Relevant education or training in retail, business, or customer service is an advantage but not mandatory.
