About Wave Antiques
Based in the heart of Hatton Garden, Wave Antiques is an independent, design-led jeweller with five generations of expertise. We offer a thoughtfully curated collection of antique and fine jewellery, with a deep love for vintage design and distinctive pieces.
We are breaking the mould for Hatton Garden jewellers, with a strong online and social media presence and a more diverse clientele. Our content is how most people meet us, so this role sits close to the centre of how the business grows.
Role Overview
We are looking for a part-time content creator to shoot and edit short-form vertical video for Reels and TikTok, entirely on iPhone. The work is a mix of two styles.
Storytelling content: narrative, cinematic pieces built from a shot-by-shot storyboard, with a warm, story-led tone.
Trend-led content: fast-turnaround videos built around current platform trends, sounds and formats, where you will help spot what is working and adapt it to the brand.
You will also be in front of the camera. A lot of our content is shot close up on the hands, so you will be wearing and handling the pieces yourself.
This is an ongoing part-time role, two days a week, on site at our Hatton Garden office, sitting within the marketing team. We provide all equipment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
- Shoot vertical (9:16) video on iPhone using natural or simple practical lighting.
- Follow a provided shot list or storyboard for narrative pieces, adapting framing and composition on the day.
- Capture b-roll and cutaways to support pacing and story flow.
- Model the pieces yourself on camera, mostly close-up hand shots of rings, bracelets and other jewellery.
Editing and delivery
- Edit footage into a polished final cut, covering colour grade, pacing and text or caption placement.
- Source or advise on music and audio: trending sounds for trend-led content, mood-appropriate tracks for storytelling pieces. No licensed commercial tracks with lyrics unless usage rights are cleared.
- Deliver final files in formats ready for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
Trends and ideas
- Spot and pitch relevant trends, sounds and formats, and turn them around quickly.
- Adapt what is working on each platform so that it fits the brand rather than fighting it.
- Develop new formats of your own, bringing together the brand, your creativity and what is landing on the platforms.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Proven experience shooting and editing short-form video on iPhone. A portfolio or reel is required.
- Comfortable working from storyboards and creative briefs, as well as turning around quick, trend-responsive content.
- Genuinely online. You follow TikTok and Reels trends as they happen, not after they have peaked.
- Comfortable planning shoot locations, and happy being out and about around London.
- Happy to appear on camera, with well-kept hands.
- Based in or able to travel within London, and able to work on site in Hatton Garden two days a week.
