The Jewellery Mounter
An integral member of the team, assisting in the production of all orders designed and manufactured in house.
Role Overview
The role will involve carrying out a number of jewellery mounting tasks in a competent and tidy manner to ensure the production team are able to complete orders on time and meet our exacting high standards. The requirement to work quickly and efficiently whilst having an eye for detail and being flexible in the approach to your role is essential. Your contributions are integral to our journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the manufacture of jewellery
- Casting, cleaning & multi-piece assemblies of 18ct Gold & Platinum
- Completing tasks in a timely manner as per the manufacturing notes
- Understand & adhere to our quality standards
- Ring resizing & general intermediate repairs
- Use of a microscope & laser welder
- Polishing to a high standard
- Clearly communicating any queries which may arise during production
- Following company procedures when processing client orders
- Accurately record timings of own productivity
- Assisting Lead Goldsmith or Head of Manufacturing when required
- Maintaining a tidy bench
- To be a representative of the workshop and workshop etiquette

Skills and Qualifications
- Strong technical understanding of Jewellery manufacturing processes
- Confident ability to work on a variety of intermediate & advanced-level bespoke designs
- Work using a microscope
- Working knowledge of our laser technology
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate a high level of quality control
- Follow company security procedures
- Engaging with clients on workshop tours when required
