Role Description

The Jewellery Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. In this position, the associate greets customers, presents diamond and jewelry collections, and provides knowledgeable guidance to help clients select suitable pieces. Daily activities include:

The role also involves maintaining the showroom display, ensuring stock is presented neatly and securely, and supporting inventory checks. The associate is expected to meet sales targets, follow up with clients, and contribute to a welcoming, professional store environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong retail and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Sales and upselling abilities, including working toward targets and handling point-of-sale transactions accurately.
  • Attention to detail and product knowledge, ideally with experience or interest in diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewelry.
  • Clear verbal communication, active listening skills, and a professional manner with diverse customers.
  • Reliability and time management, with the ability to work full-time retail hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
  • Comfort with basic computer systems, sales software, and inventory or CRM tools.
  • Previous experience in jewelry, luxury retail, or a similar customer-facing environment is beneficial.
  • Relevant training or certification in jewelry, gemology, or retail sales is an advantage but not required.
