Assistant Boutique Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an inspirational and dynamic Assistant Store Manager to play a leading role in the success of the store/counter by supporting the Store Manager to lead, coach, and develop our team of Sales Associates to achieve all sales, customer service, and operational targets.


The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, showcasing their supervisory, coaching, and operational expertise. This role is perfect for an ambitious, self-propelled professional with a passion for retail and team development, offering a stepping stone toward a long-term career in prestige beauty within a leader in the beauty industry.

Qualifications

  • Proven cosmetics-focused retail experience
  • Exceptional ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
  • Previous supervisory experience, including a track record of coaching/mentoring others to exceed sales and service targets
  • Retail operations expertise, covering inventory management and cash reconciliation
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including nights, weekends, and special events
  • Experience with retail POS software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Right to live and work in the country (proof required upon invitation for interview)

As the Assistant Boutique Manager, responsibilities include:

  • Hosting global visitors to create unforgettable moments, such as Hand and Arm massages, wedding consultations, floral crown-making, cocktail masterclasses, and more.
  • Elevating in-store events to deliver impactful and successful outcomes.
  • Collaborating with the Boutique Manager to ensure seamless operational management, including VM standards, stock control, and team alignment.
  • Covering during absence of the Boutique Manager.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks

  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Maximize sales performance and team productivity
  • Effectively manage and develop teams
  • Ensure clear, collaborative communication with department-wide colleagues
  • Create, organize, and execute in-store events with finesse
  • Efficiently manage stock and inventory to maintain optimal levels
  • Uphold high visual merchandising standards and a polished work environment
  • Complete admin tasks and reporting flawlessly and promptly
  • Monitor competitor activity and integrate an omni-channel approach
