Milo Productions is seeking a full-time, remote-based animation supervisor to supervise a team of animators to ensure all projects are completed on time.

Position Details: Permanent, full-time

Rate: To be Determined based on experience

About The Project

Milo Productions is a Canadian entertainment and education company that creates cutting-edge content for children and their families. Milo Productions is seeking a full-time, remote-based animation supervisor to supervise a team of animators to ensure that all projects are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaboration with the animation team, lead producer, and project manager
  • Work with producer lead, animation team, and other stakeholders on future projects, planning, and budgeting
  • Ensure that animation tasks are assigned, understood, and completed according to instructions
  • Ensure that the animation team understands and follows through on the overall creative vision of each project
  • Create an overall production schedule, with weekly demands
  • Ensure both internal and external deadlines are met for the animation team
  • Review and approve all storyboard, animatics, and artwork before submitting it to the lead producer
  • Review animation completed by the team and assign revisions as required
  • Ensure that all production creative materials are approved before they are submitted to the lead producer
  • Communicate any edits and retakes to the animators
  • Provide an effective and positive solution to problems or concerns within the animation team
  • Be a key part of the recruitment process

Required Experience/Skill

  • 3+ years of previous experience as an Animation Supervisor
  • Able to be a strong liaison between animation team and production leads
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines

Not Required, But Are Considered An Asset:

  • Fluent in Spanish or proficient in it
  • General knowledge in various animation softwares (Moho, After Effects, Toon Boom)
