About The Role

Keighley College are seeking a Job Coach Team Lead to join our Supported Internships department.

As Job Coach Team Lead, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team to empower learners with disabilities to develop the confidence, skills and experience needed to secure meaningful paid employment. By building strong partnerships with employers, supporting colleagues, and working collaboratively with students, families and external agencies, you will play a pivotal role in creating inclusive opportunities that transform lives. This is a rewarding leadership role where your passion for developing people, driving high-quality support and championing equality will have a lasting impact on students' futures.

Please note, this is a part-time, reduced year role. You will work 30 hours per week, 36 weeks per year. The pro rata'd salary is £20,560 with progression to £21,796.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and support a team of Job Coaches.
  • Develop learners' employability skills and confidence.
  • Build strong partnerships with employers and external agencies.
  • Secure and support paid employment opportunities.
  • Monitor learner progress and ensure quality standards.
  • Support job matching, workplace transitions and reviews.
  • Oversee funding, compliance and safeguarding.
  • Promote inclusive employment and celebrate student success.

About You

  • Experience leading and developing a team.
  • Knowledge of supporting learners with SEND.
  • Understanding of disability rights and equality legislation.
  • Experience working with young people and employers.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to coach, motivate and influence others.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of education, employment and supported internship programmes.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and professional standards.
  • Proactive, collaborative and passionate about improving outcomes for learners.
