Salary: GBP37,45,000

A well-established architectural practice in Cardiff is looking to appoint a Job Runner to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an architectural professional with experience in practice who is looking to take on greater responsibility and gain further exposure across a diverse range of projects.

The practice works across a varied portfolio, including residential, food retail, leisure, industrial, and veterinary projects, providing the opportunity to work across different sectors and contribute to projects throughout the RIBA stages.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within an architectural practice
  • ARB registered
  • Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Strong technical and detailing abilities
  • Good design awareness and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage workloads and contribute effectively within a team

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the delivery of projects across various RIBA stages
  • Producing high-quality architectural drawings and technical information
  • Developing design proposals and detailed packages
  • Assisting with Building Regulations and planning requirements
  • Coordinating with consultants, contractors, and wider project teams
  • Attending meetings and contributing to project discussions
  • Supporting the progression of projects from initial concept through to completion
  • Working across a varied portfolio including residential, retail, industrial, leisure, and veterinary schemes
