VP of Industrial Engineering

Humanoid · London · Reports to CTO

About Humanoid

Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. We're building the first commercially deployed humanoid robots for industrial environments.

Our HMND-01 Alpha platform is rapidly developed and ready for real industrial pilots. Beyond industry-leading results in testing, we’ve grown the team to accelerate the development further.

Our industrial robot edition Schaeffler, Bosch, Siemens and more continue operations. Publicly named customer projects—our first beta fleet ships in 2026 with production scaling each subsequent year.

Humanoid's engineering leadership stems from trailblazing teams at Boston Dynamics, Amazon Robotics, Brain Corp, Sanctuary AI, Yandex Self-Driving, Nebius, Cloudflare, and Google. With combined deployment experience of hundreds of thousands of robots across Europe, the US, and Canada—collectively Canada—we are well-supported and have significant runway. Offices are based in London (HQ), Vancouver, Boston, and San Diego.

Why This Bet

Most humanoid projects focus on fully general-purpose bipeds with five-fingered hands. But the team chose a targeted approach informed by real-world customer needs. Our strategy is practical:

We aim to deploy wheeled, innovative robots in industrial settings that solve real-time challenges today. This generalized hardware combined with AI-driven learning ensures swift deployment cycles. Customers, accustomed to multi-quarter delays, notice significant differentiation when our robots land in days to weeks. Our tactic results in insurmountable integration cycles, typically the industry norm.

Our Approach to AI

The AI components function as our competitive long-term platform. We aggressively push the frontier of modern robot learning. Key areas of focus:

  • Fleet learning
  • Embodied agents
  • Foundation models for autonomy

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
