This is a full-time, on-site role based in Aylesbury. The postholder will contribute to the delivery of high-quality local services, working closely with colleagues, partners, and residents to support Council priorities and community needs. Day-to-day responsibilities may include managing casework, responding to enquiries, maintaining accurate records and documentation, and supporting the implementation of policies and projects. The role involves working within established procedures, meeting agreed deadlines, and helping to improve processes and services. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate across teams, provide clear and professional communication, and demonstrate a commitment to public service and resident-focused outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, partners, and residents.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to assess information, support decision-making, and contribute to service improvements.
- Comfort with standard office IT systems and digital tools, with the ability to learn Council-specific software as required.
- Experience in local government, public sector, or community-focused roles is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to work constructively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities and workloads.
- Relevant education or training (for example, in public administration, business, or a related field) is advantageous.
