Role Description

This full-time, on-site role in Southampton focuses on supporting clients with mortgage and protection needs while contributing to the growth of the local business. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves managing a personal pipeline of leads, maintaining accurate records, and working closely with internal colleagues to ensure a smooth application and completion process. The Job Title will also engage in local business development activities, attend training sessions, and use the group’s marketing and digital tools to build a sustainable client base. Ongoing collaboration with a dedicated Business Manager will support performance, professional development, and long-term career progression.

Qualifications

  • Strong client relationship skills, including the ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and manage expectations throughout the advice process.
  • Solid business development and networking capabilities to generate leads, nurture referral partnerships, and grow a local client base.
  • Competence in using digital tools and CRM systems to manage cases, maintain records, and follow internal processes efficiently.
  • Sound understanding of mortgage and protection products, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, with a commitment to ongoing learning.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a target-driven environment while collaborating effectively with colleagues and a Business Manager.
  • Relevant mortgage advisory qualifications (e.g., CeMAP or equivalent) and prior experience in mortgage or financial services advice are highly beneficial.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality client outcomes.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to work on-site in Southampton, with flexibility to meet client needs.
