About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Care Assistant to join a team for a 33-year-old woman in the York area.
The client contracted meningitis in 2010 which resulted in an incomplete Spinal Cord Injury causing quadriplegia and a moderate brain injury.
The client is living independently with a support team assisting with activities of daily living.
Full personal care is required.

A flexible approach is necessary as your main rota will be 1 day shift and 1 sleeping night per week with the possibility to cover further shifts in the case of staff annual leave.
Applicants require an empathetic & dynamic approach, with the ability to promote and encourage therapies. Successful applicants will be required to engage the client in home & community activities.

UK Driving Licence Essential.
Successful applicant will receive support, training & supervision.
