Precise Components Ltd is a subcontract CNC manufacturing business in Milton Keynes that specializes in complex components for sectors such as medical, aviation, and defense. The company uses state-of-the-art CNC machining equipment and continuously invests in tools and processes to stay ahead in a fast-moving industry. Since new leadership in 2000, Precise Components Ltd has significantly expanded its capabilities and modernized its operations. Now run as a family business, the company remains focused on innovation, quality, and meeting the evolving demands of its customers.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based at our facility in North Milton Keynes/Northampton. The successful candidate will work with CNC machinery and related equipment, follow technical drawings and specifications, and help ensure components are manufactured to precise quality standards. The role also involves:

  • Adhering to health and safety requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment, ideally with CNC machinery or precision components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, with good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety practices in an industrial or workshop setting.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across different levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and equipment as the company continues to invest and grow.
  • Relevant vocational training or qualifications in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field are beneficial but not essential.
  • Previous experience in medical, aviation, or defense sectors, or other high-precision industries, is an advantage.
