Role Description
This full-time, on-site role based in the United Kingdom involves carrying out day-to-day electrical tasks such as installations, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of systems and equipment. Responsibilities typically include attending scheduled jobs, diagnosing electrical issues, completing wiring and fixture work, testing and commissioning systems, and ensuring all work complies with relevant regulations and safety standards. The role may involve working at different client sites nationwide, preparing accurate job reports, and communicating clearly with customers and colleagues. The successful candidate will be expected to follow company procedures, maintain tools and equipment, and contribute to a safe and efficient working environment.

- Strong practical electrical skills, including installation, maintenance, fault finding, and testing of electrical systems.
- Solid understanding of UK electrical regulations, safety standards, and best practices, with a commitment to safe working methods.
- Relevant technical qualifications, such as NVQ or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation, and valid industry certifications (e.g., 18th Edition or equivalent).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications, and to complete accurate documentation and job reports.
- Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently on-site.
- Willingness to travel to different locations within the United Kingdom and maintain punctuality and reliability across all assignments.
- Full UK driving license and a flexible approach to working hours, including potential overtime or varied shifts depending on project needs.
- Previous experience as an electrical contractor or electrician within commercial, industrial, or domestic environments is highly beneficial.
