Ready to Lead? We're Hiring a Business Manager
At Seetec, we're committed to helping young people aged 18-24 overcome barriers to employment and achieve sustainable careers. We're looking for an experienced Business Manager to lead the successful delivery of our Youth Job Guarantee programme across a designated area.
In this role, you'll inspire and develop a team of Team Leaders, Youth Employment Advisors, Trainers and Employer Account Executives, creating a high performance culture focused on achieving outstanding outcomes for participants. You'll be accountable for contract performance, quality, compliance, safeguarding and financial targets, while ensuring young people receive personalised support that helps them secure and sustain employment.
You'll use performance data and insight to drive continuous improvement, manage resources effectively and build strong partnerships with employers, Jobcentre Plus, local authorities and training providers. The role requires a confident and experienced leader who can motivate teams, manage performance and deliver results in a target driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire and coach Team Leaders to deliver high performance and strong participant outcomes.
- Drive the successful delivery of the Youth Job Guarantee programme across your area.
- Achieve contractual targets across performance, quality, compliance, safeguarding and participant experience.
- Use data and insights to identify risks, improve performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee participant journeys, ensuring personalised support leads to sustainable employment outcomes.
- Build strong partnerships with employers, Jobcentre Plus, local authorities and training providers.
- Support effective collaboration between delivery and employer engagement teams to maximise employment opportunities.
- Manage resources, budgets and workforce capacity to meet operational and contractual requirements.
- Maintain high standards of quality assurance, compliance, safeguarding and risk management.
- Champion an exceptional participant experience and a culture of accountability, best practice and continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience
Essential
- Extensive leadership and management experience.
- Proven experience working in a target-driven environment.
- Experience delivering services against contractual and quality standards.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365 applications such as Teams, Excel, and Word.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Extensive knowledge of the employability sector.
- Experience working in advice and guidance environments.
- Recognised Management or Leadership qualification (Level 3 or above).

Hours
- 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm
