The Diamond Centre is a Christian organization based in Woodside Croydon, United Kingdom, with activities serving the broader local community around Croydon and the surrounding area. Role Description

This is a one day a week on-site Keyboard Player role located in the United Kingdom, working primarily at The Diamond Centre in or near Croydon.

The Keyboard Player will perform live music for events, sessions, and activities organized by the Centre, including rehearsals, concerts, and community programs.

Qualifications

  • Strong keyboard and piano performance skills, with the ability to play confidently in a range of styles and settings.
  • Ability to read music and/or chord charts, and to learn and adapt pieces quickly for rehearsals and live performance. But will accept self-taught.
  • Experience accompanying singers or other musicians, with good listening skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Basic knowledge of music equipment (e.g., keyboards, amps, sound systems) and willingness to assist with setup and troubleshooting.
  • Reliable time management skills, including punctuality for rehearsals, events, and performances.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a respectful, inclusive approach to working with diverse groups.
  • Previous experience performing in community, educational, or venue-based settings is beneficial.
  • Relevant music qualifications, training, or demonstrable performance experience that shows proficiency as a keyboard player.
