Health Care Assistant – Full-Time and Part-Time
CHO7 – Dublin South West

Eligibility

Applicants must be eligible to work in Ireland.

Qualifications and Training Requirements

Applicants must have completed, or be currently studying towards, the following QQI Level 5 modules:

  • Care Skills
  • Care of the Older Person

Students currently completing these modules are encouraged to apply.

A current People Moving and Handling certificate is not required at the application stage, as the necessary training can be provided.

International Police Clearance will be required where applicable.

Previous care experience is desirable but not essential.

Your Responsibilities

As a Health Care Assistant, you will:

  • Provide personal and practical care in line with each client’s individual care plan
  • Support clients to maintain their independence and remain active in their community
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation and light household duties
  • Provide companionship and social support
  • Treat every client with dignity, privacy and respect
  • Report concerns, incidents or changes in a client’s condition to management
  • Follow company procedures and maintain high standards of care at all times
