Job Description Home Instead is delighted to be looking for an experienced and dedicated female Live-In Care Assistant to support a lovely lady in the comfort of her own home. This role is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys companionship and chatting as much as providing care. Due to some health conditions, our client would really value someone who can spend quality time with her, offer warm and genuine company, and help prepare and enjoy healthy, home-cooked meals together. Your sunny outlook and professional support will make a real difference to her daily life, bringing comfort, connection and joy. Due to the needs and requests of our client, we are currently recruiting FEMALES only who have experience in cooking traditional English cuisine. This is a Genuine Occupational Requirement of this position in accordance with Schedule 9 of The Equality Act 2010 The Role at a Glance • Position: Live-In Care Assistant (Female) • Location: near Market Harborough, Leicestershire (it’s in a beautiful rural village) • Shift Pattern: 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off • Pay: £143.00 per day + Holiday pay • Requirements: Driver with own car Duties of a Live in Care Professional • Provide 24/7 live-in care – with two hours off site free time each day • Daily Companionship Activities for example a trip to the garden centre • Cooking healthy and nutritious food and grocery shopping • Home help such as cleaning – ensuring the home is tidy and spotless • Accompany to social events and appointments, seeing family, friends etc Qualifications Full induction and training provided with 24 hour support throughout placement Additional Information Benefits- why choose us? • Exceptional pay for each period of cover • Full training given • Full induction for the role and 24-hour support throughout the placement • Private room during placement • Mileage payments in line with carrying out your responsibilities • Daily pay rates of £143 • Holiday pay • Earn up to £225 for referring a friend • Weekly check ins with your assistant care manager • Blue Light discount card • Wellbeing - Employee Assistance Programme • OUTSTANDING rated by CQC since 2026 – we care for our staff too!
