Are you an experienced field leader with a strong background in utility-scale solar construction and pile installation? While we're not actively hiring for this role today, we're always interested in connecting with talented Pile Superintendents who are passionate about safety, quality, and building the future of renewable energy.

WHAT YOU'LL DO (WHEN THE TIME COMES)

  • Lead and oversee all pile installation activities on utility-scale solar construction projects.
  • Manage and mentor Field Engineers, General Foremen, Foremen, and craft personnel.
  • Drive production while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, subcontractors, and materials to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and productivity goals.
  • Partner with project leadership, survey teams, QA/QC personnel, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
  • Foster a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with all company and client safety requirements.
  • Support workforce development and training efforts while promoting operational excellence.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Experience as a Superintendent or similar leadership role in utility-scale solar construction.
  • Strong background in pile installation operations and production management.
  • Proven ability to manage field crews, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling, cost controls, and quality management processes.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
  • Willingness to travel and relocate to project sites as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must comply with client safety requirements (e.g., clean-shaven, long sleeves, steel-toe boots).
  • Must pass a physical exam if required.
  • Able to:
    • Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, and stairways.
    • Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work at heights or in confined spaces.
    • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (Use assistance for heavier loads).
    • Stand or walk for extended periods on uneven terrain, including dirt, gravel, concrete, mud, and asphalt.
    • Wear a respirator and other required personal protective equipment (PPE).

WORK LOCATION

Utility-scale solar construction projects throughout the United States.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

  • Predominantly outdoor work
  • Exposure to:
    • Extreme heat and cold

    • Dust and other construction-related environmental conditions
