Program type: Innovation Competition & Accelerator

Duration: Six months

Location: Africa

Application Deadline: July 20, 2026

Overview

The Africa Health-Tech Accelerator 2026 is a six-month pan-African program designed to transform innovative health-tech ideas into scalable, investment-ready ventures. Organized by Africa Health Tech and co-hosted by the Africa CDC and Africa Health ExCon. The program focuses on health-tech innovation areas including digital healthcare, data and intelligent technologies, medical and pharmaceutical innovation, and access, prevention, and health services.

Program’s Aim

The program aims to equip early-stage health technology startups across Africa with mentorship, tools, seed funding, and ecosystem access to build market-ready solutions for pressing healthcare challenges. It bridges the gap between innovation and commercialization, guiding startups from concept validation to investor readiness through a structured, execution-driven curriculum. The program culminates in a Demo Day where selected startups pitch to a distinguished network of investors, policymakers, and industry leaders across the continent.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
