Role: Joiner - Trades & Labour

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.

Location: Lincolnshire, NG23

Contract: 1 Month

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a fully qualified Joiner to work on residential properties across the Long Bennington area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality joinery and associated installation works within occupied residential homes, PV installation projects, air source heat pump projects and void properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general joinery and carpentry works within residential properties.
  • Complete installation, repair, replacement and maintenance of doors, frames, skirting, architraves and other timber components.
  • Work safely and professionally within occupied homes, maintaining respect for residents and their properties.
  • Support works associated with PV and air source heat pump installations, including making good and associated joinery requirements.
  • Carry out joinery works within vacant/void properties to prepare them for occupation.
  • Complete snagging, repairs and finishing works to a high standard.
  • Follow health & safety procedures and always site requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and tidy working environment.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider trades team.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and within agreed timescales.

  • Fully qualified Joiner/Carpenter with relevant trade experience.
  • Proven experience working within residential properties.
  • Experience Working In Occupied Homes Is Essential.
  • Experience with void properties, maintenance and refurbishment is desirable.
  • Ability to work around other trades and residents professionally.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety requirements.
  • Good workmanship, reliability and attention to detail.
  • Must have the appropriate PPE: safety boots, gloves, hi-vis, hard hat with chin strap and safety glasses.
