Location: Site based, covering Workington, Whitehaven, Egremont, Maryport, Wigton and surrounding areas
Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours plus out of hours on call.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Joiner to join Novus Property Solutions, Planned works and Responsive Repairs division, providing high-quality repairs and replacement services within Social Housing tenanted properties
This role will support you, value your skills, give you stability, whilst keeping your work interesting and meaningful.

An Outline Of Your Responsibilities And Experience
Applications are welcome from experienced candidates that have a Joinery background, prepared to take on multi trade duties. The works include the replacement and occasional repairs of various upvc doors, windows, kitchen, bathrooms and general maintenance to ensure functionality.
- Basic Plumbing, replacement of sanitaryware, toilets, baths, shower trays, basins, taps with occasional repairs
- Tiling & patch plastering including making good
- Painting and decorating as and when required
- Social Housing experience is essential as you will be working in tenanted properties
- Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.
- Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively
- Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes
- Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards

Qualifications and Skills:
- NVQ Level 2/3 Joinery or NVQ Level 2 in Property Maintenance.
- Plumbing, tiling, plastering skills, PASMA, IPAF knowledge or qualifications are advantageous
- Candidates will also require Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training. Where these certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided by Novus.
- Full UK driving license is required.
- The role will also require a DBS check to be completed
