We are looking for an experienced Joiner to join our busy repairs and voids team. You will play a key role in ensuring our clients receive high levels of service and satisfaction, carrying out a range of joinery, maintenance and refurbishment works across residential properties.

With 30 years of delivering market-leading repairs and maintenance services, Mears is trusted to deliver in excess of 6,000 repairs daily to a portfolio of more than 1,000,000 homes nationwide. We provide tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnering arrangements with more than 70 local authorities, Arm’s Length Management Organisations and Housing Associations.
About the Role:
As a Joiner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance and refurbishment work within occupied and void properties. You will ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while providing excellent customer service.
- Carpentry and joinery works
- General maintenance activities
- Replacement and refurbishment works
- Carrying out repairs within residential properties
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times
- Ensuring all work is completed to agreed quality standards
Key Criteria:
- Previous experience working as a Joiner
- City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
- Ideally experienced within domestic or social housing environments
- Extensive practical on-the-job experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
