Location: West Yorkshire
Salary: £55,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing specialist business operating within the high-end joinery and interior fit-out sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initial survey and pre-construction through to completion, working across a variety of sectors including hospitality, stadia, modular build, education and commercial projects.
Projects range from smaller joinery installations through to multimillion-pound fit-outs, involving both direct labour and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates from first principles, for bespoke joinery items, including materials, labour, finishes, ironmongery, subcontract works, and installation
- Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, schedules, and client information to produce accurate take‑offs
- Assess manufacturing methods, buildability, and programme implications during the estimating stage
- Identify and propose value engineering options without compromising suitability or design intent
- Maintain and update pricing databases for materials, labour, and suppliers
- Receive, review, and manage tender enquiries from new and existing clients, throughout the pre-contract process
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and verify quotations
- Compile and submit professional, detailed tender returns within required deadlines
- Respond to post‑tender queries and attend clarification meetings as required
- Assess project risks and opportunities and provide commercially sound and concise handover to management team to allow confident commercial decision making
- Work closely with the design, production, and project management teams to ensure estimates reflect realistic manufacturing and installation processes
- Support handover of secured projects to delivery teams with clear cost breakdowns and allowed manufacturing methodology

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Joinery Estimator within a bespoke joinery or high‑end manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of joinery materials, manufacturing processes, and finishes
- Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings and specifications
- High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to critically analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations to assess competitiveness

Qualifications
- Relevant CSCS Card.
- SMSTS - preferred.
- First Aid at Work.
- Asbestos Awareness.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
