Location: National
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday (07.30am – 19.30pm)
Salary: Competitive, DOE + Excellent Benefits!
Contract: Full time, Permanent

At Oakwrights, we're looking for a Team Leader / Joinery Fitter to join our growing site installation teams across the United Kingdom.

The Role
As our Joinery Team Leader, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality joinery and construction work while supporting and developing your team on site.

You'll work independently with confidence, following Oakwrights' proven construction methods and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism.
Additional overtime and training opportunities may be available as required.
As our Joinery Team Leader you will be responsible for:
- Joinery & Site Installation: Carrying out joinery work to Oakwrights' exacting standards
- Leading and Supporting Team Members: On site and undertaking a variety of carpentry and joinery tasks, including:
- 1st & 2nd Fix Joinery and Refurbishment Joinery
- Fascia, Soffit & Gutter Renewals
- Windows & Doors Installation
- Sub-floor Renewals and Partitioning
- Roof Timbers & Joists and Enabling and Re-enabling Works
- Site Organisation
- Planning and Prioritising Daily Workloads: Managing paperwork and job records accurately
- Ensuring Timesheets and Work Orders are Completed Promptly
- Maintaining Tools, Equipment and Company Assets
- Carrying Out Vehicle Inspections and Routine Checks Where Applicable
- Customer Service: Communicating professionally with customers and clients
- Providing Updates and Arrival Times When Required
- Representing Oakwrights as a Friendly, Reliable and Professional Service Provider

- Experience within the building and construction industry
- Strong site carpentry and joinery skills
- Confidence working safely at height
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Positive, proactive attitude
- Clean driving licence
- Reliable timekeeping
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional, presentable and customer-focused
