Journey Delivery Analyst

We’re looking for Journey Delivery Analyst to join our Decisioning and Marketing Automation team. If you’re looking for a new challenge with an organisation committed to putting customers first, aiming high and working together, you’ll thrive here.

Job Type: Secondment 12 Months

Location: Birmingham, Telford and Edinburgh. Hybrid working

Salary & Benefits: £35,000-£50,000 (dependant upon experience) plus an indicative bonus range of 8-16%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more.

The role

You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and help define the correct segment and audience for your customer communication along with building the journey across Azure (Databricks), Salesforce Data 360 and Marketing Cloud. You will source and determine data availability from internal, external or novel data sources and consult with stakeholders to design, build and maintain customer communication journeys.

You will build communication and journey requirements for a customer communication across channels along with ensuring that all processes are followed during the build and delivery of a customer communication, making sure risks are managed and the output is in compliance with legislation, industry best practice and company standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and define the right customer segments, audiences and communication journeys.
  • Source, assess and interpret data from internal, external and novel data sources to support journey design and delivery.
  • Design, build and maintain customer communication journeys across Salesforce Data 360 and Marketing Cloud.
  • Document communication and journey requirements clearly across channels, ensuring they can be delivered effectively and accurately.
  • Follow agreed processes during build and delivery, managing risks and ensuring outputs meet legislative, industry and company standards.
  • Identifying efficiencies, leveraging automation and enhancing customer outcomes.

  • Experience of working with data to deliver customer communications using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or relevant Salesforce tooling (Knowledge of Salesforce Data 360 would be desirable).
  • Working knowledge of Azure (Databricks) and/or Power BI, both desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with confidence navigating complex environments and resolving data-related challenges with high attention to detail.
  • Experience gathering and translating stakeholder requirements into customer audiences, segments and communication journeys.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data opportunities, assess data availability, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts, data insights and risks clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
