Job Description

WePlay is seeking a Junior Videographer on a 5-month, fixed-term contract to join our growing sports marketing agency. Reporting to the Creative Production Director, you will support our Creative Production team in creating engaging, social-first video content across our lead Emirates account, alongside a range of exciting brands, sports partnerships, and live events.

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious junior creative looking to develop their skills in sports content while gaining hands-on experience across shoots, events, and productions in the UK and internationally.

You Will:

  • Support our production team in filming high-quality video content across sporting events, brand activations, talent shoots, and social campaigns.
  • Work closely with our senior videographers, producers, and creatives across client accounts and wider portfolio of sports partnerships.
  • Capture social-first content including behind-the-scenes moments, athlete and talent content, fan engagement, and live event coverage.
  • Support camera preparation and production setups including kit checks, lenses, batteries, media, and basic lighting equipment, as well as shooting responsibilities.
  • Assist senior members of the production team on larger shoots while developing your own camera and production skills.
  • Edit short-form video content for social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Support footage management including ingesting, organizing, backing up, and preparing media for post-production.
  • Work from creative briefs and shot lists while developing the confidence to identify additional moments and content opportunities on location.
  • Support fast turnaround content production during live events and busy sporting calendars.
  • Keep up to date with social trends, creators, filmmaking techniques, and emerging styles of sports content.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
