Junior Account Executive

Build strong organisational and operational skills, develop media and content basics, learn how agencies deliver client success

Position in Company Structure

The Junior Account Executive (JAE) is the foundation of Hoffman’s client service and communications teams. It’s an entry-level role designed to build the essential skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced PR and marketing consultancy.

JAEs provide hands-on support across account administration, media relations, content creation, and research. You’ll work closely with Account Executives, Account Managers, and other team members to ensure campaigns run smoothly, deadlines are met, and results are captured accurately.

This is a learning role — but it’s also vital to the success of our clients and our agency. JAEs are the eyes and ears of our teams, spotting opportunities, tracking activity, and ensuring that nothing slips through the cracks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
