Job Overview

This Account Executive role is open to individuals from all backgrounds. Whether you're a recent graduate, a school leaver, or someone looking to change careers, previous PR experience is not required. What matters most is your enthusiasm, confidence, willingness to learn, and ability to communicate with people.

As an Account Executive, you'll work closely with experienced PR professionals, supporting client campaigns while learning every aspect of agency life. From media relations and campaign delivery to client meetings and content creation, you'll gain valuable experience that will help you develop into a successful PR professional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining media lists to support client campaigns
  • Researching journalists, producers, and media contacts to identify the best opportunities for stories
  • Developing relationships with key media contacts and supporting media outreach
  • Assisting with the delivery of PR campaigns from planning through to execution
  • Tracking media coverage and producing campaign reports
  • Drafting press releases, media pitches, and briefing documents
  • Supporting client meetings and campaign discussions from an early stage
  • Monitoring the daily news agenda and identifying opportunities for clients
  • Providing administrative support to ensure campaigns run smoothly
  • Working collaboratively with the wider team across multiple client accounts

Required Skills

  • No previous PR experience is required
  • A genuine interest in current affairs, media, and communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident building relationships with a wide range of people
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges
  • A degree is welcome but not essential
  • Experience in customer-facing roles such as hospitality, retail, or sales would be beneficial but is not essential
