Junior Account Executive

We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Junior Account Executive to join our growing team at PingPong Digital. You will support client relationship management, help craft and implement tailored digital marketing strategies, and help ensure the success of your assigned accounts. Working closely with your Account Manager and collaborating with the sales and creative teams, you will help deliver strong results for clients advertising on both Chinese and Western platforms, particularly in the higher education sector.

This is an entry-level role, and we will provide full training. We value curiosity, drive, and potential as much as experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of robust relationships with clients, particularly higher education institutions and student-focused organisations, to ensure their expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of bespoke digital marketing strategies that align with the specific goals of each client, across both Chinese platforms (such as WeChat, Weibo, RedNote/Xiaohongshu and Douyin) and Western platforms (such as Meta, Google, TikTok and LinkedIn).
  • Support the day-to-day delivery of campaigns, preparing and trafficking assets, checking live activity, maintaining trackers and following up on deadlines with internal teams.
  • Collaborate with sales and creative teams to help prepare compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value of our services.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, using data to support recommendations for improvement and optimisation.
  • Prepare timely, precise reports on campaign outcomes for your Account Manager to review before sharing with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay informed of the latest trends and developments within both the Chinese and Western digital marketing landscapes to foster growth and innovation within your accounts.
  • Actively participate in client meetings and presentations, capture clear notes, follow up on actions, and build toward leading your own sections of the conversation.
  • Help identify opportunities for account growth and expansion and raise them with your Account Manager.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Certifications: Google Ads or Google Analytics, Meta Blueprint, TikTok Academy or similar, or a willingness to complete them within your first few months.
  • Sector interest: an interest in the higher education or student marketing sector, or in cross-border and international marketing more broadly.
  • Content and design: basic skills in Figma or the Adobe Creative Suite for quick-turnaround assets.
