Role Summary
Junior Account Executives at Battenhall work across a wide range of digital communications disciplines, including social media (organic and paid), PR, influencers, and data and insights. Having a genuine passion for social media and communications is a must, as well as a desire to nurture your skills and understanding to help our team deliver outstanding work for our clients.
Responsibilities
Working as part of a fast growing, global team, a Junior Account Executive’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Helping to produce written materials such as social media posts, press releases, news stories, reports, case studies, and product information.
- Assisting in handling some clients’ social media profiles including LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok and more.
- Monitoring social media and press coverage, working with other team members to communicate results.
- Helping to pitch written materials featuring ideas and announcements to influencers and members of the press.
- Supporting the delivery of analytics reports on social media, PR and influencer activity, monitoring conversation, traffic, engagement, and followers using a combination of tools and desk research.
- Proactively identifying emerging platform features or viral trends that our clients can capitalise on.
- Getting involved in creative brainstorming of concepts for social media and PR campaigns.
- Helping to respond to inbound enquiries from members of the press and clients.
- Supporting client teams with research into the set up of paid social media campaigns e.g audience profiling.
- Supporting new biz teams with research.
- Attending client calls and internal meetings, working with team members to prepare agendas, presentations, follow up notes and actions.
- Contributing to Battenhall's own brand communications, such as writing for the Battenhall blog or social channels.
- Working across a number of accounts and projects at the same time.

Skills
- Experience in social media, communications or PR is valued but not essential.
- Experience in an agency or in-house is valued but not essential.
- Eager to learn and get involved in opportunities presented to them.
- You will need to demonstrate outstanding verbal English, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to write exceptional copy.
- You will have strong interpersonal skills virtually and in-person.
- You will need to demonstrate the ability to work to tight deadlines and meet all the demands and pressures of teams and clients. You will need to work quickly and efficiently without compromising on quality.
- You will have the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
